Creating a blog is easy...deciding what to say is hard. My name is Amanda and I'm the beauty of the blog. I'm not super impressive by and standards but I'm much prettier than my beast, my new self imposed budget. I loathe budgets. I have worked hard along side my husband for ten years. I pretty much skipped college to take a job and support us in the early years when he was finishing his degree and my education didnt seem as important. Once I was allowed to start spending I didnt want to stop. I felt I had earned the right to buy whatever I want. I mean we had the money why not spend it? Flash forward eight or so years. I see the value of having a savings now. I want to be prepared for what ever my come our way. The economy bites, I realize things need to change. This blog will be my sounding board, complaint department, award center (assuming I deserve any), and overall tracker.
